Following the concepts presented in Mark Amerika's 'Remixthebook', with the idea of creating new content within the limitations of existing materials, I was tasked with finding a piece that spoke to me, breaking it down into its rawest state; then re-interpreting it into a new piece of work.

For this task I chose a non-fiction book by the talented Oliver Sacks, 'Hallucinations' detailing the cases of many episodes and mind altering experiences the psychologist had encountered

Reading through the fascinating book several times, I became beguiled in its contents and specifically its detailing of psychosis.

For my reformatting method, using a hobby of mine (amateur photograpy). I took full pages of the book using opacity and overlapping in adobe photoshop along with shots I had taken to block out unused spaces and words. To create some form of sense and plot.
